4I wish it had satellite radio
By A. Smith
This is a good unit. It looks like a factory unit and the color also matches the nightime dash in the Toyota Venza. Installation was done at Bestbuy and the installer had breeze installing the product. The navigation works well and so does the bluetooth. I just wish there was some way to have satellite radio installed in the unit. I had to get a portable unit and add a RCA Y cable to the back of the unit just to get a 3.5 output jack which by the way doesn't produce a good sound quality so I just use the FM transmitter method for my XM radio. The usb cord charges my phone and it has a Ipod/Iphone cable but I don't know how well it works because I don't own either device.

5A good risk
By Herbert Brandt
Yes, this unit looks like the OEM ones installed. It does look like a factory unit and the color also matches the night time dash in the 2009 Toyota Venza. You can change the unit back lighting between blue and orange. Installation was done by me. I used to professionally install car stereos. It was easy installing the unit but you will want to tape the dash around the area that you are working around to avoid scratching the dashboard. The wire sets are plug and play but there are a lot of RCA plugs that are extra and may confuse a novice if self installing. These RCA plugs are well marked. Heads up, there are no installation instructions in the kit but it was very easy to install. Use youtube "Rosen nav installation in a venza" to see how to get the radio out if you are installing your self. You will end up with two extra cables from your stock radio, the XM radio antenna(a blue square headed connector)and a smaller than normal male antenna cable. Toyota uses two antennas in their radios, one standard size and one smaller. You need to get a Motorola "Y" adapter and a Toyota Matrix Pigtail that fits the smaller male antenna end and makes it a standard size to fit the "Y." I have read where other installers tape off the smaller antenna and do not use it, your choice. The navigation works well, better than the portables ones that I have and what is nice is when using it the nav cuts out the music when giving you instruction. The bluetooth works really well and is easy to use. I'm not a big XM radio guy and didn't care about it when purchasing this unit. The USB cable works well on a number of devices. The Ipod/Iphone cable works well but its not the new connectior that the Iphone 5 uses. You would need to use your Iphone 5 cord and plug it into the USB cord. The Ipod is controlled through the radio and there is no sound quality loss compared to the old stock radio that I removed.Over all I'm quite pleased with the unit and everything in it works well,Ipod/IPhone, DVD, CD,FM/AM, Navigation system.
