Pros:-Looks and feels like 'stock' would be. Feels solid and operates well.-Plays DVDs even while in motion which is handy for passengers-Auto-connects hands-free Bluetooth whenever in car-Excellent call quality & microphone placement (I had it installed by the guys at Galpin Auto Sports (Pimp My Ride people)-GPS is visually nice-Two colour themes.. Blue & Orange-Has USB hookup in glove box that you can put a USB drive with music files one it and it will play under DVD> USB settingCons:-Does NOT support A2DP Bluetooth (ie Can NOT play Bluetooth music through this stereo)-Interface is 'no frills' & definitely not visually oriented; slightly complex to look at. For example: FM Radio interface has all the presets in vertical columns and a little number (radio freq.) at top and the name (if applicable) also written up there. No large display of current now playing etc. Same with DVD (which is also CD). MP3 discs show name of song.. but only like this:FOLDER: WOW WORSHITITLE: I CAN ONLY IMA_.MP3-GPS uses up the SD card slot-LOCA button does nothing.-Several features aren't obvious. When installed I knew there must be a way to get an AUX-IN. I finally figured it out. You have to go to Setup and turn OFF iPod. The iPod icon on the Menu screen will become AUX. (The engine on my Jetta now interferes with the AUX though it didn't with the old stock one. I get a whine sound corresponding with the engine RPMs.)-Upon ignition on, it takes 20+/- seconds for the stereo to turn on.-On AUX mode, a warning appears talking about no video input detected.All in all not a bad device. I would say it is overpriced for the cons aspect, but again.. it works and it definitely an upgrade from the stock.If they were to release a software upgrade that made it more visually attractive and added a few features, that'd be a huge plus.
