I was looking for a stereo that had all the new features and this one has it.After I had it installed I love it looks good easy to use.I looked around for other stereos but all were too expensive .This was at half price of the completion.

This is a great Kenwood add on

This is a great Kenwood add on, it was easy to install and works just like the portable units.In fact, i replaces my portable Kenwood Gps with this unit. They are identical in operation.I don't like the SALES ADDS that pop up in the new Kenwood units though.I am trying to find a way to turn off the sales pop ups in the Kenwood GPS units.SALES ADDS on the screen are very annoying, Kenwood should stop this practice or let the customer know about the sales adds before purchase.This way i could have had the option to purchase a different GPS unit from a another company that don't install sales adds in the GPS

This was a great deal and seller is fast shipping. I have had installed in my 1992 custom Chevy truck since 9-17, works great.This was installed to a Kenwood Excelon KVT-696 DVD Receiver.Garmin makes a great product, works great with the kenwood receiver.THANKS!!

this thing does it all gas milage how fast your going and the best wayto go to save gas. wow the price is kinda high but shop around and you can get it for about 350 off ebay and thats worth it. so u dont have to use your phone batt up all the time. oh yea i got the kenwood head unit kvt 696dvd.

Wish I could give it more stars!!!!

Installed it in my '07 Impala and absolutely LOVE it!!! Fits just fine in place of the stock unit even with the wiring harness & steering wheel control units tucked in behind it. All the features are really easy to use, even easier to find, & with the button illumination control, I can even match the button color to all the other controls in the dash, which makes it look like a stock unit. The sound is GREAT (it IS a pioneer after all) and the Bluetooth is flawless! Great sound on both ends of the call and the long mic wire lets you mount the mic about anywhere. Decided to save a few hundred bucks and forego the navigation unit and just use my iPhone navigation and connect the Bluetooth audio to hear it through the speakers. A great unit at a great price ($372). MUCH better than I expected for the price! Do not pass this deal up!

Great Entry level double din

This radio is great for the price range. I don't have any problems with 'cumbersome' or 'glitchy' operation. I have a Samsung Galaxy S-3 and everything works great from the bluetooth and pandora radio app. Every time I get in my car I just hit 'connect' and pandora is up and running. When using navigation I don't see the map on the screen but the sound does play through my speakers which is nice, and multitasking hasn't been an issue for me. The touchscreen is responsive and the equalizer settings are nice.I haven't used the mixtrax feature yet but I'm sure it will be cool. I installed the microphone that comes with it and everyone I call can't tell I'm using hands free talking. I wish there were a few more options with HPF and LPF settings with the subs and speakers but overall a great head unit. You won't be disappointed.

I have only had this in for a few days but I love it so far. I can't really think of one gripe about it. I didn't ever listen to it with it's on board amp because when I installed it, I installed a jbl gtq 400 amp but it looks great, it sounds great, it's fast, it linked easily to an iphone via bluetooth and I played moog (like pandora/spotify) easily and the menus are very intuitive, in my opinion. I am really very very pleased with this unit. The only thing that is kind of lame is it won't let you play dvds while your park break is not engaged. To combat this, just hook up a toggle switch to it. One wire goes to the park break wire from the harness and the other contact from the switch is attached to the ground wire from before the harness. I just got a small toggle switch and mounted it right by my right knee. It's out of sight and all I have to do is turn it on twice and it allows me to play DVD while I drive. Trust me, this is a very easy fix and this head unit is awesome. I would recommend it to any friend.

Quit working due to software bug

I was really happy with this until it quit working after about 20 hours of operation. The navigation program caused an "Out of memory" error and never worked again. There seems to be a software bug in the GPS program. I wish it would have survived because it looked great in my Jetta. Some other things I didn't like about this unit was that it is hard to read in sunlight and the instruction manual is useless because it is written in Chin-glish. There is an email address for technical support and they do answer emails within 36 hours.

Excellent product! Excellent sound good design is identical to the original brand and fits perfectly into place!trabjan all functions very well! Except to the microphone and the reception when receiving calls, the other person barely hear what is said and have to climb much volume to listen to the speaker and when you end the call and turns the music and gives you a fright or leaves you deaf because the music sounds the most high volume!
